Expertly hand-woven leather sandals
■ Design
MOHINDERS leather sandals are hand-knitted using traditional vegetable tanning techniques. These sandals are handmade by artisans in Athani, southwestern India. Currently, the outsole thickness is normally 10mm, but I ordered it at 6mm for a classic look and comfort.
■ Material
The tanned leather, combined with the rough texture of the buffalo horn, allows you to enjoy the changes in atmosphere that develop over time as you wear them. This brings out the charm of natural materials.

Based in San Francisco, it is produced in India using traditional vegetable-tanned leather. Because each pair is handmade by skilled craftsmen, it can take more than a month to make a pair. The brand's motto is fair trade, which pays fair wages to craftsmen.
