This garment features a shawl collar, known for its excellent warmth and elegant look. The ribbed fabric creates a sophisticated, textured feel. The scattered colorful nep yarn adds a touch of casual elegance.

This fabric is Special order from BATONER, a brand born from Okuyama Meriyasu, which was founded in Sagae City, Yamagata Prefecture in 1951. It is made from high-quality fabric befitting a brand specializing in knitwear. It uses 100% leftover silk, which is made by re-spinning short fibers that are discarded during the spinning and weaving process. Unlike the typical image of silk, it is a nep yarn that offers a simple touch and a dry texture. It possesses the inherent moisture retention and temperature regulating properties of silk, while achieving a balance between a soft weight and a fluffy feel.
