Carlos Aguirre, a key figure in the South American music scene, has finally released his long-awaited album, commonly known as "Crema," in 2000 with his own group!
This album, which has had a great influence on contemporary Argentinian music and modern folklore, can be considered the origin of Aguirre's beautiful poetic sound world and philosophy.
With folklore at its core, this music blends elements of jazz, classical, and Latin music, creating a fresh acoustic sound that is gently complemented by a simple, unpretentious singing voice that is truly soothing.
The album artwork, featuring watercolor prints with different designs randomly pasted by hand, is also superb!
