Noise particles paint a new horizon in modern electroacoustics.
KMRU, also known as Joseph Kamaru, a producer from Kenya based in Berlin, has released his first album in six years via Editions Mego.
This album, which began production in Nairobi in 2021 and was completed in 2022 after the death of musician Peter Rehberg, known by the name Pita, is now complete.
Distorted noise and drone sounds overlap, creating a more abstract world.
The album's second track, "Blurred," features Fennesz, known for his collaborations with Ryuichi Sakamoto, showcasing an exploration of new possibilities in electronic music.
