Tomoo Gokita
Born in Tokyo in 1969. In the late 1990s, he attracted attention for his improvisational drawings. In recent years, he has been working on abstract paintings that display concrete motifs, such as portraits in black and white. In addition to publishing and exhibiting extensively in Japan, he has participated in solo and group exhibitions overseas, including in New York, Los Angeles, and Berlin, where he has received high praise.
