"Objects By Artists"
BEAMS T Harajuku will be hosting a joint art show titled "Objects By Artists" by Joe Garvey, Eric Elms, Mayumi Yamase, and Kazuma Ogata, who have been close friends for many years. The exhibition will feature artwork by the four artists, each with their own unique style and background, on display and for sale. In addition to eight apparel items featuring art pieces created specifically for the exhibition, the show will also feature caps and tote bags featuring collaborative artwork by the four artists.
Mayumi Yamase
Born in Tokyo. Spent his childhood in the United States and moved to the UK after graduating from high school. Studied Fine Art at Chelsea College of Arts & Design, University of the Arts London. Currently based in Tokyo. Primarily creating abstract paintings and soft sculptures, he creates works based on the concept of opposing reality (the body) and invisible fantasy and imagination.
