A one-of-a-kind dress that combines the beauty of nature with free-spirited imagination and can be arranged however you like.
A casual camisole dress with an apron-like silhouette. The shoulder straps and waist straps are connected, so you can adjust the length. You can also wear it backwards and enjoy wearing it in various ways. The dyeing name "Sekisou" is an original name, and the correct dyeing technique is "Hikizome (dyeing by hand with a brush)". The name comes from "lamination" and comes from the fact that various dyes and techniques such as ink, chemical dyes, and discharge printing are layered on top of each other many times. Among the several dyeing series by Funatabi Atelier, this series is more unrepeatable and expressive. Rather than completing the work in one go, the artist leaves it for a while and then adds to it again after a while. The patterns aim to have colors and shapes that resemble natural phenomena that are created randomly around us.

Even if you don't reach your destination right away, the journey is what counts.
Fabric like a painting that cherishes the accumulation of processes. The name of the project, Funatabi, comes from the experience that even if you don't reach your destination right away, the journey is the journey itself, and the accumulation of effort and process in production. While using various traditional techniques, we aim for new and free expression, and imbue the fabric with artistic moments that appear every day.
