Enjoy the rich individuality of Japanese tea leaves
■GREEN (green tea)
This is a pan-fried green tea of the "Minekaori" variety.
While most Japanese green teas begin their processing by steaming, this tea is roasted in a kettle.
Combined with the characteristics of the variety, it has a grainy texture like rice or corn, and a fluffy, gentle sweetness and richness.
Brew it quickly with hot water for a refreshing taste, or let the water cool a little and steep for a longer time for a thick, sweet drink.
Of course, you can also enjoy it in cold water.
■ BLACK (black tea)
This tea is a blend of two varieties, "Minekaori" and "Sayamakaori," which are then turned into black tea.
The clear honey-like sweetness from "Minekaori" and the sweet greenness and full body from "Sayamakaori" harmonize to create a fragrant tea flavor that goes well with sweet treats.
The extraction time is up to you, but we recommend using boiling water for 2 minutes or more, or if you are using cold water, we recommend using a slightly higher ratio of tea leaves (about 3g of tea leaves per 200ml of cold water).
