Castiglioni's masterpiece, "Luminator," expresses the essence of a floor lamp using minimal elements. Created in 1954, it won the prestigious Compasso d'Oro design award the following year.
Its appeal lies in its minimalist design, consisting only of a support column and tripod. The form is so minimalist that even the reflector lamp seems like an integral part of the design, giving it a clean and elegant quality that makes it worthy of being called a masterpiece.
The power cord features an ON/OFF switch and a dimmer lever in the middle. This floor lamp combines beauty that enhances the space with functionality.
