My Freedamn! was launched jointly by Rintaro Tanaka, a leading vintage fashion researcher, and the Tenprint Group. It is a valuable fashion design resource that serves as a fashion photo collection that is sent to the world.
A sequel to the previous work "My Freedamn! 8" (1960s special), this volume focuses on rock fashion in the 1970s. Starting with the psychedelic fashion after the "Woodstock Music Festival", the early rock concert T-shirts that became popular in the United States in the 1970s, and Vivienne Westwood's British punk fashion that shocked the world, this volume features rare and crazy rock fashion.
This is a very interesting book containing a total of 800 items.
■Author: Rin Tanaka
Born in Yokohama in 1970. At the age of 20, he began writing as the "world's youngest black music writer." After working at a major advertising agency for four years, he moved to San Clemente, California in the spring of 1998. He continues to write while traveling around the US all year round, with the theme of "Deep America." In 2003, he started the self-published "My Freedamn!" series under the label Cycleman Books. Since 2010, he has been organizing the vintage fashion event "Inspiration" in Los Angeles.
