This special book was produced to coincide with the special exhibition at the vintage clothing event "Inspiration 2011" organized by "My Freedamn!". Following on from the previous book "King of Vintage No.1: Heller's Cafe", this volume contains the huge deadstock collection of Kathleen Scharf (owner of "Meow"), a female vintage clothing dealer who has attracted attention from the Hollywood costume industry.

The exhibition covers everything from the overalls and uniforms sold to workers before World War II to cowboy fashion that was at its height from the 1930s to 1950s, 50s fashion that symbolizes America's golden age, and even rare beach fashion from the early days.

This is a valuable resource book containing over 500 rare items.

■Author: Rin Tanaka
Born in Yokohama in 1970. At the age of 20, he began writing as the "world's youngest black music writer." After working at a major advertising agency for four years, he moved to San Clemente, California in the spring of 1998. He continues to write while traveling around the US all year round, with the theme of "Deep America." In 2003, he started the self-published "My Freedamn!" series under the label Cycleman Books. Since 2010, he has been organizing the vintage fashion event "Inspiration" in Los Angeles.
