■ Design and specifications
A rockin' chair type of Knee Chair X created by Japanese designer Takeshi Nii.
It is also highly praised for its comfortable seating and beautiful form.
It is foldable and collapsible, with a simple design that thoroughly eliminates all unnecessary elements.

It consists of just six parts: a seat with a combined backrest and seating surface, pipe legs and a frame for the seat, a pair of wooden armrests on both sides, and four screws.
The assembly process is very simple and can be done relatively easily with just one Phillips head screwdriver.

It has a thick, durable seat and stainless steel legs that are rust-resistant and have been treated to make even minor scratches and distortions less noticeable, making it durable and designed to stay in beautiful condition, while also being easy to maintain.

To ensure that the seats are strong enough to comfortably support the weight of the person sitting on them and the structure of the chair, they use thick fabric from canvas factories in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, and Takashima, Shiga Prefecture.

In order to recreate the "softness and feel as if it had been washed once," we use thick, sturdy fabric that can support the body, but also apply a brushed finish to create fine fuzz for a gentle feel against the skin.

The armrests are made of beech wood and come in two colors, "natural" and "dark brown." The "natural" color is environmentally friendly, with the difference in grain being considered as "individuality," and the difference in grain and knots between the left and right sides may be noticeable.
Traditionally, we have focused on beautiful appearance and used carefully selected wood, but in light of the recent situation in which forest resources have continued to decline, starting with the production of the Nyc Chair X 50th anniversary model, we have begun to promote the selection of materials that make the most of the natural texture.
This is a rocking chair that you can use for a long time and will grow to love and become special.

Size: Looking at the dimensions, it seems that the seat surface is only 5.5cm different compared to Knee Chair X, but it feels higher when sitting. The lower frame part has a compact and clean form.
Material Feel: The upholstery has just the right amount of tension and feels like a hammock. The steel material of the frame is semi-matte and has a calm atmosphere.
Point: The slope of the back is the same as Knee Chair Rocking is recommended for those who feel that their eyes are lower when using a knee chair.*This product is available for pre-order at both in-store and online shops.
