A masterpiece chair that represents Japanese modern style, beautifully combining the essence of the Windsor chair with Japanese lifestyle.
The large, spacious oval seat allows you to sit in any position, whether cross-legged or with your legs stretched out, for a sense of freedom and comfort, just like sitting on a tatami mat.
It has a unique structure in which all parts, including thin round rods (spokes) and legs, are attached to an oval base made of molded plywood. The rhythmic shadows created by the 13 spokes are beautiful from any direction and bring a light and open feeling to the space.

■ Design
Toyoguchi Katsuhei Born in Akita Prefecture in 1905. Graduated from Tokyo Polytechnic School in 1928. Worked at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry's Crafts Guidance Center in Sendai from 1933. He devoted himself to creating chairs for Japanese people to sit on, and conducted many ergonomic experiments. It is said that he would sit in the powder snow, leaving marks, and study the curved surfaces of the human body in a seated position with Kenmochi Isamu and others. In 1959, he gave a presentation at the Toyoguchi Design Laboratory. In 1976, he was awarded the Order of the Sacred Treasure Third Class and the Kunii Kitaro Special Award. In 1991, he received the first Design Achievement Award.
