A shoe brand based in an atelier and shop in Asakusa, Tokyo.
The project involves creating original shoe lasts in the atelier. The creator, who is familiar with the background of shoe lasts, draws on his experience and skills as a pattern maker to incorporate classic designs into the pattern, thereby maintaining consistency without compromising the intent of the shoe last. Creating a design with even more sophisticated lines, and based on the theme of "interlocking" which is the origin of the brand name, I personally visited the factory many times from the planning stage and talked with the craftsmen to ensure smooth manufacturing. By repeating prototyping and verification, we are able to produce shoes with high quality that are closer to the image.
