Product description
A three-color flat plate with a wavy dye pattern, made to Special order by fennica
This flat plate was Special order commissioned from Nakaigama to be modeled after a three-color Inkuyama ware plate from the mid-Meiji period that is housed at the Tottori Folk Crafts Museum.
This is 7 inch size.

It is attractive for its striking, broad lines and swaying dyeing of green, black, and white.

■Notes
*All products are handmade. Even if the pieces are the same shape, each piece will be different in color, pattern, size, etc. Please note that there may be some individual differences.

[Regarding the use of pottery and porcelain]
●If you rinse the pan with water before serving food on it, it will be less likely to absorb odors or oil.
After washing the dishes, be sure to dry them thoroughly before storing them.
If you are concerned about stains or odor transfer, one preventative measure is to seal the pores. Put the dishes in a pot with rice water or water mixed with wheat flour or potato starch, and boil over low heat for 15 to 20 minutes. Then turn off the heat and leave to cool. After that, rinse lightly and dry thoroughly.
●Do not use in ovens. We do not recommend using microwaves or dishwashers.
The company was founded in 1945 in Kawaramachi, Tottori City, Tottori Prefecture, following the tradition of Ushinoto ware that has continued since the Edo period. Under the guidance of Yoshida Shoya, a disciple of Yanagi Soetsu, a central figure in the Mingei movement, the company continues to produce everyday tableware, focusing on those made using a technique called dye-separation. Currently, the company is led by third-generation owner Sakamoto Akira, and has many works selected for exhibitions such as the Japan Folk Crafts Museum and the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition.
