These babouche shoes are based on the "SUNLIGHT" model and crafted from soft grained leather. The upper is sewn into a bag-like shape, and the insole and lining are integrated with vegetable-tanned leather using a platform construction method, resulting in a comfortable, foot-hugging feel. The lightweight rubber sole with a thin heel makes them suitable for both outdoor wear and as lounge shoes. The multiple stitch lines running across the upper are inspired by the supple curves of the bamboo skewers in Isamu Noguchi's light sculpture "AKARI."
