An original Kodomo BEAMS chair produced by the Cedar Factory in Ukiha City, Fukuoka Prefecture under the supervision of Tokyo Landscape Products.
Manufactured at a historic factory that has earned high praise for its wooden school supplies such as children's desks, chairs, and vaulting boxes, and has been recommended by the Ministry of Education. Today, we are still committed to domestic production, and all the parts we use are certified by JIS, which has the lowest formaldehyde standards, and are certified as VOD (Volatile Organic We are also actively working on countermeasures (compounds).
The seat height can be adjusted to two different levels to match the desk, and it also has a step that is said to help children concentrate better, all while maintaining a clean design. The Kodomo BEAMS original chair is made of natural, strong beech wood. The seat is made of Mina Perhonen's interior fabric "dop," which reveals a different color underneath as the surface threads wear away due to friction. Two new colors, "choucho," are now available from this fabric. It is a product that you can enjoy using for a long time, as it changes over time.
