Product description
Suspenseful scenery discovered at a tourist spot in America just before debut
The Dear Film Project was launched with the aim of respecting the rich worldview contained in film and the spirit of the photographer, re-editing the footage and passing it on to the next generation.
We created zines of seven photographers, limited to 500 copies each.
*Includes serial number. You cannot choose the number.

Kaoru Ijima has an "American scent" attached to her. DEAR FILM PROJECT wanted to know the origins of the creators of the legendary cassette magazines ``TRA'' and ``zyappu,'' whose activities go beyond the boundaries of photographers, so we dug up a cabinet in Ijima's office where a huge number of photos were stored. Ta.
What Ijima discovered was a photo of a trip to America he took as a prize for a magazine prize essay when he just became a professional. Ijima went to photograph the majestic nature of America, which he admired, but instead of taking pictures of the scenery, he instead took a photo of a tourist looking in the opposite direction.
The unsettling expressions on the faces of the tourists, as if in a scene from a suspense movie, convey a sense of the ``awesome grandeur of America's natural wonders'' even after more than 40 years.

The purpose is to upcycle film photographs. We have dug up the photographs taken by many photographers with rich sensibilities and perspectives during the boom period of paper media (1950s to 1990s), and have created paper media that can be called objects by valuing their fragrant emotions. Masu.
