Dear Film Project respects the rich worldviews and spirit of photographers, re-edits them, and creates art media to pass on to future generations.

■ Tadayuki Naito
Born in Asakusa, Tokyo in 1941, he discovered jazz and aspired to become a photographer in order to capture its feelings and vibrations on film. He eventually published his love, understanding, and emotions for the African land, his roots, in collections such as "Songs of Africa." After repeated trips to Africa, he published "ZEBRA," a delicate yet bold depiction of the zebra motif. He freely employs everything from straightforward color photography to symmetrical abstract expressions that make full use of collage, solarization, and multiple screens, establishing a consistent characteristic that runs through his photography: a fusion of the spiritual, modern, and primitive. In 2022, he became the first photographer to receive the Japan Jazz Music Association Jazz Award, given to musicians who have contributed greatly to jazz.
The purpose is to upcycle film photographs. We have dug up the photographs taken by many photographers with rich sensibilities and perspectives during the boom period of paper media (1950s to 1990s), and have created paper media that can be called objects by valuing their fragrant emotions. Masu.
