This book is Ozawa's first comprehensive collection of his works, featuring a carefully selected collection of his work to date.
Ozawa has painted many works that focus on three main motifs that are important to the formation of his own identity: women, flowers and plants, and musicians and instruments. In recent years, he has attempted to paint each motif on the same canvas rather than separately, and the layered structure of the works creates a unique style and impact.
Another characteristic of Ozawa's style is the use of a large number of colors, including fluorescent colors, in each work, which build a single worldview on the screen without clashing. This book explores the extent to which such colors can be reproduced using offset printing. This is a gem of a book that weaves together the "music" that underlies Ozawa's work, the world of intense, vivid colors that jump out at the viewer, and the "tones" that are created by combining these two.
