A group of works using rubble
I took some rubble from a nearby vacant lot after a building collapsed and pasted the pages of a book I had with me, hoping to use it for something someday. I see a lot of things in town that get destroyed quickly when they get old, but if you don't ignore those things and play with rebuilding them in your own way, you can make things look more attractive.

A 60-page collection of works, including unpublished works, limited to 200 volumes.
■Ryohei Sasaki
Born in 1985, from Fukuoka Prefecture. Started working as a live painter in 2007 based in Fukuoka. His hand-painted works, which look like prints, are characterized by their motifs of everyday natural objects such as stones, rocks, and water. Received the GEISAI Award from kaikaikiki at LIVEPA INTI NG DOJO in 2013.
