Elevating the catchy, cartoon-animation-like worldview into sophisticated paintings, Koichi Yairi is a rising artist based in Japan who is also active internationally. This book is a collection of works born from a unique solo exhibition that displayed paintings alongside stories. It unfolds like a picture book, depicting Mooney, who lives a carefree life in the ghost world, getting into big trouble due to a chance encounter, and spending time with fun friends while traveling in space, all through illustrations and stories. Containing five stories, this large-format book allows you to enjoy the world of his work.

Artist. Born in 1992. Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Visual Communication Design.
He has held exhibitions both in Japan and internationally, including in London, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Dubai. In his client work, he focuses on painting, providing artwork for record jackets, character designs, and apparel.
