Release of official collaboration goods for “Munch Exhibition-Scream of the Resonant Soul”

A major retrospective exhibition of Edvard Munch, the master of modern painting who painted one of the world's most well-known masterpieces, The Scream, will be held in Tokyo from Saturday, October 27, 2018 to Sunday, January 20, 2019.・Held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in Ueno.
Around 60 masterpieces of oil painting, including his masterpiece ``The Scream'', are gathered together, centering on the world's largest collection of the Munch Museum in Oslo, located in the artist's hometown, the capital of Norway. Approximately 100 items including prints and other items will be on display.
There are several versions of ``The Scream,'' but this is the first time that the oil and tempera painting ``The Scream,'' which is owned by the Munch Museum, will be in Japan.

This time, BEAMS will release official collaboration goods for this "Munch Exhibition" on Saturday, October 27th.
We will develop a variety of items with BEAMS like designs based on Munch's masterpiece ``The Scream'' and other motifs, as well as illustrations created especially for this occasion by noted illustrator Nigel Graf.

This collaboration goods will be sold at BEAMS casual stores and the special shop on the 2nd floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum Munch Exhibition.
