“Furusato Working Holiday WEEK @ BEAMS JAPAN” event will be held to convey the charm of “Furusato Working Holiday”

2018.10.23

“Furusato Working Holiday” is a domestic working holiday program promoted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, in which people in urban areas stay in the area for a certain period of time, work and earn money, and gain support from the local community through opportunities for interaction and learning with local residents. This is an initiative that provides an opportunity to fully experience the life of a local and deepen ties with the local community.

"BEAMS JAPAN" will be holding an event focusing on people in their late teens and 20s, who are the main participants of "Furusato Working Holiday". This event will feature panel exhibitions and presentations in which those who have experienced the "Hometown Working Holiday" will discover new selves while rediscovering the charm of working holidays, as well as recognizing local issues and thinking about feedback to the government. We will deliver the charm of ``Hometown Working Holiday'' through this program.
