Kenji Endo (commonly known as Enken)
Born in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1947. Single debut in 1969. In 1970, the album ``Niyago'' with backing band ``Happy End'' became a hot topic, and in 1971, ``I wonder if I can be satisfied'' became a hot topic, and ``Curry Rice'' became a hit. Since then, he has released many masterpieces such as ``Tokyo Wasshoi'' and ``Yume yo Shoube''. At the same time as being the foundation of Japanese rock, his wide-ranging expressive activities as a pure musician without being tied to genres have greatly influenced and supported younger musicians and artists from all walks of life.
*The name Kenji Endo in the manga ``20th Century Boys'' by Naoki Urasawa comes from him, and he also appears as a guest in the movie version. He also appeared in films produced by Kankuro Kudo and Sion Sono.
