“Fukushima Map” No. 16 - Aizu Kiri -

The 16th installment of the ``Fukushima Mono Map'' project being held at `` BEAMS JAPAN'' will sell kitchen goods made from Aizu paulownia, which is known for its beautiful grain and high-quality material.

Aizu paulownia, grown in Aizu's unique climate and harsh cold, is known for its beautiful straight grain (annual rings). It is lightweight, durable, and highly absorbent, and has been used as a material for a variety of crafts.
