BEAMS exhibits archived historical materials and produces souvenir goods "Fashion in Japan 1945-2020 - Trends and Society" A special exhibition looking back on Japanese fashion culture from the postwar period to the present day

The world's first large-scale exhibition "Fashion in Japan 1945-2020 - Trends and Society" will be held at the Shimane Prefectural Iwami Museum of Art and the National Art Center, Tokyo this year, unraveling the history of Japanese fashion from the postwar period to the present BEAMS. We will be exhibiting products from the time of our founding and early shop bags.
BEAMS was born in the midst of changing times, and you can view valuable archived historical materials along with explanations about the role that the small shop of about 20,000 square meters and the community that gathered there played in the history of Japanese fashion. In addition, souvenir goods produced for this event with the logo displayed at the store at the time of its founding will be on sale.
