fennica will be holding a special exhibition of <Matsumoto Folk Art Furniture> for the first time in 11 years since April 2010 at fennica STUDIO on the 5th floor of BEAMS JAPAN.
This time, we will focus on the Lassi series, which has overcome the challenge of material procurement through corporate efforts and stabilized production. At the same time, we have a complete lineup of carefully selected fennica items, including the ``Windsor Chair,'' which is attracting attention, and the ``Slant Bookshelf,'' which we have been introducing for a long time. During this period, we will be running a campaign where you can double the BEAMS CLUB points only for customers who purchase or order Matsumoto Mingei furniture.

Matsumoto folk art furniture
Founded in 1948, one of Japan's leading folk furniture manufacturers based in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture. The founder, Sanshiro Ikeda, was an avid Mingei activist and had close friendships with Muneyoshi Yanagi and Bernard Leach, and left behind numerous masterpieces, including not only copies of classic Western furniture, but also items supervised by them.
