BEAMS will open a store at “Virtual Market 2021”, the world’s largest VR event held on Metaverse!

BEAMS will once again be opening a store at the world's largest virtual event "Virtual Market 2021", which attracts over 1 million visitors from all over the world.

A virtual market is a venue on the Metaverse where you can buy and sell various 3D items such as avatars as well as real products (clothes, PCs, food, etc.), and it attracts over 1 million visitors from Japan and all over the world. The world's largest VR event. We have also been recognized by the Guinness World Records for the most booths at a virtual reality market event.

In addition to buying and selling products, we will also offer "experiences" unique to the virtual space, such as riding on vehicles, watching movies, and participating in live music at the venue. Furthermore, communication between visitors is possible, and you can enjoy a sense of immersion as if you were touring the city together in the real world.

This time, BEAMS virtual shop has appeared in Parareal Shibuya. On the first floor of the store, in addition to selling BEAMS first original avatars, we will also sell real products and 3D model products of "Chibi Maruko-chan", "Odd Taxi", and "The Wonderful! design works.." On the second floor of the store, we have recreated a ``Virtual Asakusa'' created in collaboration with the Netflix movie ``Asakusa Kid,'' which will be distributed simultaneously worldwide on Netflix from December 9th (Thursday). We provide a space that will make you feel like you have traveled back in time to Asakusa in the Showa era. At Asakusa Franceza in the area, you can experience the tap dance performed by Yo Oizumi and Yuya Yagira in the movie. We are also planning to hold a lottery project during which you can win special gifts.

During the event, staff avatars operated by BEAMS staff will randomly appear in the shop, allowing you to experience virtual customer service. Please enjoy communicating with our staff.
At this event, we have introduced "Vket Cloud" which allows you to enter from your smartphone or computer, so even those who do not have VR equipment can easily experience it. A store based on "BEAMS Harajuku" has been set up in Parareal Shibuya. The urban exterior gives off a strong presence, typical of Shibuya, the fashion capital.
