BEAMS' pop culture project < MANGART BEAMS >, which has restarted its content, will release a collaboration collection with Netflix 's original anime series ``Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045'' on April 25th (Monday).
MANGART BEAMS curates Japan's representative culture and entertainment such as anime and manga from a unique perspective, covering all aspects of pop culture. The latest project is a collaboration with Netflix 's original anime series ``Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045,'' co-directed by Kenji Kamiyama of the ``Ghost in the Shell STAND ALONE COMPLEX'' series and Shinji Aramaki of the ``APPLESEED'' series. The collection features a new illustration of the main character, Motoko Kusanagi, in collaboration with illustrator Ilya Kuvushinobu, who was in charge of character design for "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045." In addition to the color illustration reminiscent of the scene of her falling from a building, the back shot of her turning around to express the beauty of the "Major" and her strength to lead her companions is a design that fans will be drooling over.
In addition, we have prepared 3 types of apparel with extensive graphics, highlighting the thought tank "Tachikoma" who is active with the former members of Public Security Section 9. 2045. Ilya Kuvshinov
Illustrator. Born in 1990, from Russia. He has gained popularity by regularly announcing his works on SNS, and is followed by 1.9 million people on Instagram and 440,000 people on Twitter. He has been based in Japan since 2014, and in 2016 released his first art book, “Ilya Kuvushinov Art Book MOMENTARY” (Pie International). He was in charge of character design and art settings for Keiichi Hara's ``Birthday Wonderland,'' which was released in 2019 and received a lot of attention. He is also in charge of character design for "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045," which is currently available on Netflix. Currently working in the illustration and animation industry while aiming for his dream of becoming an animation director.
