The third edition of “Tokyo PROJECT” focuses on illustrators!

``TOKYO PROJECT'' is a project by TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS, which continues to pursue the chaotic Tokyo-ness, and focuses on illustrators active in various genres.

This third edition focuses on three illustrators who are active on the front lines: tarou2, Mika Pikazo, and Kei Mochizuki. “B GALLERY” will feature art works and apparel centered on visuals drawn with the theme of “Tokyo.”

Autograph sessions for each artist will also be held during the event. Please see below for details on how to participate.

You can participate by purchasing eligible products for 5,500 yen (tax included) or more at the store.
*Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for each artist. Please note.
*If you would like to participate, we will give you a numbered ticket, so please ask the store staff at the time of checkout.
*Once the capacity is reached, we will stop distributing numbered tickets. Thank you for your understanding.
*You will be required to sign for the purchased item.

Participating illustrators

tarou2

Illustrator/animator.
Using the skills he cultivated as an animator, he creates illustrations with dynamic poses and eye-catching compositions. He also specializes in stylish street fashion character design. Sub-character design for the TV anime "FGO -Absolute Demon Battlefront: Babylonia-", animation director for the TV anime "Darling in the Franxx", Kyouryu design, character design for the anime MV RADWIMPS "MAKAFUKA", etc.

Mika Pikazo

illustrator
Born in Tokyo. After graduating from high school, he became interested in South American video technology, advertising design, and music, and moved to Brazil for about two and a half years. After that, he returned to Japan and began working as an illustrator.
He specializes in vivid color sense and attractive character designs, and works on designs and key visuals for a variety of genres. Character design/live art direction/apparel design for VTubers “Hakos Baelz” and “Tsuki Kaguya”, costume design for Hatsune Miku’s “Magical Mirai 2018” main visual “Project Sekai”, character design for “Den-Onbu” and “Fate/Grand Order” Such.

Kei Mochizuki

illustrator
An illustrator who draws stylish illustrations with cute and edgy character designs and sophisticated colors.
Representative works include "Project:;COLD", which won the Excellence Award in the game design category at CEDEC AWARDS 2022, key "LOOPERS", and character designs for "Fate/Grand Order". In 2019, he held a solo exhibition titled ``Make it a form of love.''
