KIDILL was started in 2014 by designer Hiroaki Sueyasu. The brand name <KIDILL> is a coined word that means purity in chaos. Based on the punk culture that the designer himself experienced in the 1990s, he creates clothes for today's delinquents with a new spirit.

The pop-up shop to be held at Vermeerist BEAMS Vermeerist BEAMS time will feature artwork from the 2022-23 fall/winter collection titled "The Outsider" featuring artist Henry Darger, who is known as a master of outsider art. ) items are available.
Furthermore, as special items for this event, special items only available at Vermeerist BEAMS will be produced. We offer bandanas in three colors that incorporate Henry Darger's work into graphics. Also, those who purchase items during the period will receive a sticker on a first-come, first-served basis.

Henry Darger (1892-1973)
At the age of 16, he became lonely for the rest of his life, and for more than 60 years, he continued to create over 15,000 pages of manuscripts and 300 illustrations without anyone knowing, earning his daily living through low-wage manual labor. Having spent most of his life in solitude, his collection of works, which he had accumulated without being seen by the public, were entrusted to Nathan Lerner, the landlord of the apartment where he lived in his later years. After his death, his gigantic work ``In the Realm of Unreality'' was discovered, consisting of a typewritten story and a watercolor painting, and he was acclaimed as a representative artist of outsider art. Some of his works have been exhibited at the American Folk Art Museum, which collects American artworks, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, a temple of modern art, and the art brut (outsider art) museum in France. It is housed in the Art Brut Collection.
