An art show by ESOW, an artist who has a background as a professional skater and is active not only in Japan but also overseas, will be held at "BEAMS T Harajuku" from June 2nd (Friday).
ESOW started skateboarding at the age of 13, moved to the United States at the age of 17, encountered graffiti, and created a unique style influenced by his roots in Edo. Based in Asakusa, he has exhibited his works not only in Japan but also in America, Europe, Asia, and other countries.
At this art show, in addition to exhibiting and selling artwork created for this occasion, we will also be selling T-shirts featuring humorous artwork.
In addition, the "Cuban shirt" that ESOW likes to wear was created in a triple collaboration with Dickies, a brand that is close to skaters. The pattern of the Cuban shirt is embroidered with an ESOW original design.
We will also be selling a skate deck with ESOW's autograph (*Limited quantity).

ARTIST PROFILE
ESOW
Born in Tokyo in 1972. He started skateboarding at the age of 13, moved to the United States at the age of 17, encountered graffiti, and created a unique style influenced by his roots in the Edo era. Based in Asakusa, he has exhibited his works not only in Japan but also in America, Europe, Asia, and other countries. The medium of expression is wide and flexible, including paper, walls, timber, and three-dimensional objects. He has been a member of T19, a pioneer group in Japan's skate culture since its founding, and is also a member of the Daizu Experiment, which left its mark on Japan's graffiti history.
