On Friday, June 30th, BEAMS T brought together the experience it has cultivated since its establishment and announced the label's first plain T-shirt. And without any delay, BEAMS T will invite 30 new artists and release graphic T-shirts that use this body as a canvas.
This blank T-shirt, produced with the slogan "Canvas for yourself," has a 7.7oz body spun from American cotton and features dry comfort with sweat absorption and quick drying properties. The techniques and knowledge of BEAMS T which has created countless T-shirts, have been combined into one piece, with features such as the round torso structure with the underarm seams removed, and the design margin left on the tag on the back of the neck. It was condensed.
The launch event held on the same day as the release date was filled with T-shirt enthusiasts, giving great momentum to future developments.
In the simultaneous release featuring gorgeous artists, to celebrate the completion of the blank body, works drawn by all artists will be printed.
This project includes Yu Nagaba and Yusuke Hanai, who have collaborated with BEAMS on many occasions, Kosuke Kawamura, who is the frontman of collage art, and HIR OTTO, who is still fresh in the memory of BEAMS T 's first overseas expansion project. Japan's top artists from various genres are participating, including Mayumi Yamase, who captivates viewers with her unique beauty of form and color, and FACE and SHINKNOWNSUKE, who also work as the art unit UND.
The lineup also includes up-and-coming creators such as Ryota Daimon, who has become a hot topic with his old-school airbrushing, Shiomi Wada, who depicts everyday moments with a humorous touch, and Koichi Yairi, who looks into society with a retro cartoon style. Masu.
