To celebrate the launch of "paperboy," a community brand derived from the Parisian cafe "Paperboy," BEAMS will be releasing two limted collaboration products and original items.
Since opening in 2014, paperboy is a cafe in Paris that has used its street food sandwich as a hub to stimulate music, fashion, and other creative communities. Our frequent collaborations with BEAMS have received a great response.
paperboy, which is both a cafe and a label, is popular for its high-quality apparel, and the newly launched papergirl is its sister brand.
This collaboration uses the key colors of "papergirl": gray, pink, and white.
First of all, there is a growing momentum for re-evaluation of ASICS.
Based on the GT-2160 released in the early 2010s, this pop design features an iconic dot pattern on the upper and insole. A logo symbolizing "papergirl" is engraved in the center of the eyelet stay. The heel features “papergirl” and “BEaMS” lettering, with the “a” in the latter in a font inspired by “ASICS SPORTSTYLE,” a nod to the special triple name. . The shoelaces are a combination of basic white and girly pink associated with "papergirl", making them unique to this collaboration.
Next, the track jacket and pants set was designed to coordinate with ASICS shoes, and was created in collaboration with NEEDLES, which has close ties to both paperboy and BEAMS.
It is characterized by a loose silhouette and a structure that allows the hem to be tightened with a drawcord, and the "papergirl" logo is lined up below the familiar papillon embroidery. The sideline, of course, follows the same colorway as the sneakers.
In addition, T-shirts, sweatshirts, caps, socks, and tote bags featuring the "papergirl" logo and graphics originally produced by "papergirl" and BEAMS will also be available.
Both items have designs and sizes that match both men's and women's wear, and strongly reflect "papergirl's" attitude of delivering the creativity that "paperboy" has cultivated over the years without any restrictions on generation or gender. .
On sale at "BEAMS Harajuku" from Saturday, January 13th. Afterwards, it will go on sale at paperboy in Paris from January 19th (Friday) during Paris Fashion Week.

Notes
・If you purchase an in-store item and wear it on the same day, you will not be able to purchase it. We will also refuse your purchase if the item you are wearing is found to be fake.
・Customers who are wearing only one shoe will not be allowed to purchase.
