Sanrio's popular national character Hello Kitty, beloved by people of all ages, will celebrate its 50th BEAMS COUTURE in 2024. To commemorate the 50th anniversary, BEAMS COUTURE will be releasing special collaboration items inspired by Hello Kitty at the time of her debut.
The "HELLO KITTY Super Large Plush Toy," which is 70cm long and about three times the height of the "HELLO KITTY Plush Toy" released in May 2024 and received favorable reviews, will be available for pre-order from 12:30 on Friday, August 23rd at the "BEAMS ONLINE SHOP." It was made with the image of Hello Kitty when she first debuted, so it has a vintage feel, as if it has been with us for 50 years. The ribbon part is carefully sewn with beads one by one, giving it a gorgeous impression.
To coincide with the start of pre-orders, we will be exhibiting this collaboration product for a limited time at YAMATO Lab. gallery in Kagurazaka for two days, on August 24th (Sat) and 25th (Sun).
In addition, the "HELLO KITTY Pochette", which sold out immediately after its release, will also be available for sale in limited quantities at the gallery.
