What is Komagane City, Nagano Prefecture?
Located in the south of Nagano Prefecture, Komagane City is a town rich in nature, surrounded by the majestic mountains of the Central and Southern Alps. A popular tourist spot is Senjojiki Cirque in the Central Alps, which can be reached by the Komagatake Ropeway. A cirque is a bowl-shaped depression in the mountainside carved out by glacial erosion.
