Fukuoka glassware brand TOUMEI will be holding POP UP SHOP at BEAMS LIFE Yokohama

From Tuesday, April 29th, a pop-up shop for TOUMEI, a glassware brand created by glass artists Baku Takahashi and Tomoko Wada, will be held at BEAMS LIFE Yokohama. In addition to standard flower vases and glassware, the pop-up shop will also be selling popular lighting fixtures. In addition, the new "Pale" series, which has an attractive presence like an objet d'art, will be sold in limited quantities.
In addition, for five days from May 3rd (Sat) to 5th (Mon) and from May 11th (Sun) to 12th (Mon), the flower shop "doigt", run by TOUMEI 's close friends Shintaro Oya and Madoka Hayasaki, will also be setting up a stall.

The "Pale" series is a flower vase characterized by its unique form and soft colors. By layering colored glass on opaque white glass, we were able to create a vivid pale color. A colored line is added to the mouth using a technique called "lip wrap." Compared to other TOUMEI flower vases, the mouth is wider and can firmly support voluminous flowers. Even when there are no flowers in it, it has a presence like an objet d'art, and can be enjoyed as an accent for your interior.
