The iconic shell toe is now available at BEAMS! Special order edition of the adidas Originals masterpiece SUPERSTAR II has been released

BEAMS will be releasing a Special order model of adidas Originals' popular sneaker, the SUPERSTAR II BEAMS

The timeless classic "SUPERSTAR" was born as a basketball shoe and celebrated its 55th anniversary in 2025. Its innovative design and performance were highly praised by the players of the time, and it has supported the feet of many basketball players who have made their mark in history. Since then, it has moved from the basketball court to the city streets, becoming an iconic presence in streetwear for many years.

With its iconic shell toe and leather upper creating a classic silhouette and enduring influence, its attitude and edgy look have left an indelible mark on culture and style around the world.

Special order model of the SUPERSTAR, the first since 2014, retains the iconic design while taking a witty approach to transform the latest SUPERSTAR II, which is designed to be comfortable to wear, into a shoe that is unique to BEAMS.

The iconic rubber toe cap of the SUPERSTAR, commonly known as the "shell toe," features the word "BEAMS" in the same color. Combined with the design of the parts that widen towards the tip, this model has a playful look.
In addition, the thickly padded shoe tongue features a gold-colored logo called "kin-tongue." The name "beams" shines in gold above the French word for "three-stripe brand."

The work, which will be available in two colors, black and white, will be released at BEAMS Harajuku from 6:00 PM on Friday, July 4th. It will be available at select BEAMS label stores and BEAMS ONLINE SHOP from Saturday, July 5th.

In addition, a launch event will be held at BEAMS Harajuku from 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 4th.
