Bringing the charm of Japan to America: BEAMS JAPAN opens limited-time store in Los Angeles

2025.07.15

BEAMS JAPAN, which promotes the "charm of Japan" both domestically and internationally, will be heading to America, embracing Japanese tradition and culture, and opening a limited-time store in Los Angeles.
Launched in 2016, BEAMS JAPAN has been conveying the appeal of Japanese things and experiences by shining a spotlight on the artisanal craftsmanship that has shaped Japanese culture and famous products from all over the country that are backed by tradition.
Japan is one of the most popular travel destinations in the world, with the number of foreign tourists visiting the country reaching new records. BEAMS JAPAN brings Japanese quality to Los Angeles, a city of cultures and races that intertwines intricate detail, with its famous products, subculture, and craftsmanship.

The POP-UP, which will run for about two months from Wednesday, July 30, 2025, will be delivered by three pillars: fennica BEAMS JAPAN, a lifestyle-oriented brand that combines traditional handicrafts and new and old designs, and TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS, which promotes modern Japanese culture through the chaotic "Tokyoness" of art, design, and culture. The lineup is full of encounters and discoveries, including Cul de Sac-JAPON, which produces products that utilize the characteristics of Aomori hiba, tables and chairs designed by Japan's leading industrial designer SORI YANAGI and realized by Yamagata-based woodworking manufacturer Tendo Mokko, and works by Japan's leading artist TADANORI YOKOO and photographer Daido Moriyama. The "Japanese Antenna Shop" that will appear on the West Coast creates a space that is typical of BEAMS JAPAN, where you can enjoy the diverse charms of Japan while in the United States.
