Limited-time pop-up "BEAMS PLUS LIMITED STORE in GOSEN" will be held

BEAMS PLUS BEAMS PLUS which offers authentic men's clothing that can be worn for many years and never gets old, has arrived in Gosen City, Niigata Prefecture, a city renowned as a knitwear production area, and will be hosting the BEAMS PLUS LIMITED STORE in GOSEN in conjunction with the GOSEN KNIT FES, a knitwear festival to be held on Saturday, November 15th and Sunday, November 16th, 2025.

During the event, four types of Gosen knitwear that BEAMS PLUS store staff were involved in planning and producing will be on sale, as well as Gosen knitwear that they normally carry.They will also be bringing timeless, long-selling items from BEAMS PLUS, such as button-down oxford shirts, three-button blazers, and two-pleat chinos, and will be proposing styles that incorporate the brand's world view and Gosen knitwear.

Other experiential content will include a special factory tour with a BEAMS PLUS planner and the two factories that made the products, a talk session, and workshops such as keychain making. In addition, American food menus will be available, including the event-exclusive "chicken burger" created in collaboration with Gosen's famous restaurants "Torikan" and "Eiken," supervised by BEAMS PLUS. A food truck will also be set up in collaboration with "Watagohanten," a restaurant based in Kameda, Niigata City, and "FOOD SHOP nico" which operates without a physical store, allowing visitors to enjoy the flavors of autumn in Gosen.

Furthermore, for the generation that will lead the future of Gosen and fashion, student volunteers from Gosen High School will be invited to work as staff at BEAMS PLUS LIMITED STORE, where they will try their hand at customer service and styling. Located close to the production site, they will share "techniques to make local specialties shine even more" and "the importance of conveying their value to others."

*A portion of the sales from this event will be used by the Gosen Knit Association to revitalize the production area of Gosen City.

BEAMS PLUS / Mechanic Knit

Based on the US military mechanic sweater, this sweater follows the original neck rib design and has a relaxed silhouette while taking advantage of the moderate thickness of the knit fabric. In addition to being sized to be worn over a cut-and-sew top, the ribbing on the cuffs and hem creates a balloon-shaped silhouette.
While retaining the ruggedness of military knitwear, it is available in modern colors.

Based on the Jeep Sweater originating from the US military, it has been updated with an outdoor-like look.
The design is easy to wear on a daily basis. It also features a coloring not found in the original, high-quality domestic wool, and a thumbhole. The knit fabric has a fluffy and soft feel, giving it a classic look with a pop nuance.

We focused on a pattern that combines the classic atmosphere of British stripes with a wild edge, elevating it to an everyday cardigan. The stripes express light and shadow, creating a duality that appeals to a wide range of customers, while respecting the traditional suit style and presenting an elegant stripe pattern in a modern size.
