JYUJYUTSUKAISEN a hit manga by Gege Akutami, depicts the battle between curses born from negative human emotions and sorcerers who exorcise them with magic. Serialization began in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018, and the story concluded in September 2024, bringing an end to its six-and-a-half-year run. The manga series has sold an astounding 100 million copies (including digital versions). A near-future spinoff of JYUJYUTSUKAISEN, JYUJYUTSUKAISEN Kaisen≡ (Modulo), written by Gege Akutami and illustrated by Yuji Iwasaki, began its short, intensive serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in September 2025.

The TV anime series began airing on the Mainichi Broadcasting System and TBS affiliates in 2020, with the second season, "Kaitama/Tamaori/Shibuya Incident," airing in 2023. It has garnered a great response not only in Japan but around the world.
The long-awaited sequel, the third season of the TV anime, "Death Resurrection Part 1," is scheduled to begin airing on Thursday, January 8, 2026. Prior to the broadcast, a theatrical compilation of "Kaitama/Gamaori" was released in May 2025. Furthermore, "JYUJYUTSUKAISEN 0 the Movie," which was a huge hit with worldwide box office revenue of 26.5 billion yen, was revived and screened again on Friday, October 17 of the same year. The theatrical version, which follows the world of "JYUJYUTSUKAISEN" in chronological order, is also generating a lot of excitement.

The JYUJYUTSUKAISEN the Movie: Shibuya Incident Special Edition x Shimetsu Kaiyu Advance Screening is currently a huge hit! The JYUJYUTSUKAISEN, the most intense battle in the history of Jujutsu Kaisen, will be screened for the first time as a special edition, and episodes one and two of the third season of the anime, Shimetsu Kaiyu Part 1, will be shown for the first time in the world ahead of their TV broadcast. By connecting the directly connected episodes of the Shibuya Incident and Shimetsu Kaiyu, the film is transformed into a new, exciting and shocking story. Furthermore, the music throughout the film has been remixed in 5.1ch surround sound to suit the theater environment, creating a spectacular film worthy of being viewed on the big screen in a theater.

In "Death Resurrection," special grade sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu finally joins the battle. He appears as an executioner and turns his blade on Itadori. The protagonist Itadori vs. Okkotsu, the protagonist of "JYUJYUTSUKAISEN 0 the Movie." One of the most popular fierce battles from the original work unfolds on the big screen.
