BEAMS MANGART, a project that leverages BEAMS' unique perspective to handle a wide range of manufacturing and branding related to Japanese culture such as manga, anime, and games, will begin accepting pre-orders for its first collaboration items with the TV anime "High School! Kimengumi" from 11:00 AM on Friday, March 27, 2026.

This collection features the members of the "Kimengumi" group, including Rei Ichido, Go Hiyoshi, Kiyoshi Dese, Jin Oma, and Dai Monoboshi, as well as other familiar and unique characters from the series.
All illustrations are unique, original works by illustrator Jun Suzuki, who incorporates his deep admiration for analog-era manga, anime, movies, and printed materials into his work. The main visual features the "Kimen Flash," a signature move of the Kimen-gumi. This iconic scene from the series, where the five characters combine their faces to create a powerful impact, is boldly incorporated as a graphic, expressing the comical and impactful world of the series as a fashion item.

Artist Profile

Shun Suzuki

Born in Tottori Prefecture in 1986. Deeply drawn to the manga, anime, films, and printed materials of the analog era, she pours her passion into her illustration work. Always prioritizing entertainment value, she uses a flamboyant style to create various artist merchandise. She has also expanded her work to include licensed characters, advertising, and video media.

Work introduction

The original manga began serialization in 1980 in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (published by Shueisha) as "3-nen Kimengumi," and was later retitled "High School! Kimengumi" as the characters advanced to higher grades. This innovative work became a huge hit, and a TV anime adaptation began airing in 1985, creating a major boom.
In recent years, Kazuaki Seki has directed films such as "Kakukaku Shikajika" and "Beethoven Fabrication," and has also worked on music videos for various artists including Perfume, Gen Hoshino, Fujii Kaze, and Vaundy, demonstrating his versatility. He will be directing this project to portray Kimengumi in a way that aligns with the sensibilities of the Reiwa era.
The five members of Kimengumi embrace their "bizarre masks" as a unique characteristic, transforming them into a positive and developing them further.
Furthermore, familiar and unique characters such as the "Handsome Guys," "Program," "Arm-Linked," and "Ladies' Group" will also make appearances.
Let's laugh and blow away the fatigue of everyday life with "High School! Kimengumi"!
