Yuichi Hibi (Film director/photographer)
Born in Aichi Prefecture. Lives in New York. He has been active as an actor since his teens and moved to New York at the age of 22. One day, Dennis Hopper told him, ``If you want to be an actor, you have to take photos,'' which led him to start making photos and videos at the same time as acting. His works are included in famous collections around the world. Major photo books include "imprint/Fingerprint of the Heart" (Mulberry Gallery/2001), "A Weekend with Mr. Frank" (Nazleri Press/2006), "NECO/Cat" (Nazleri Press/2008) , “ROJIN” (ZZYZX PRESS/2010), “Salt of the Earth” (Only Photography/2013) and many others.
