ビーチカウンティに位置し、最高のロケーションも魅力である「A'maree's（アマリーズ）」。ゆったりとした時間の中、世界中から集められたラグジュアリーなアイテムを吟味できる老舗のセレクトショップだ。

Located in a beach community, one of the appeals of "A'maree's" is its prime location. A long-established select shop where you can relish time well spent choosing from luxury items assembled from around the world.

何よりオーナーのデニスが本当に素敵な女性で、彼女に会うために訪れる客も少なくない。年間300日程度は晴れだというカリフォルニア。眩しい日差しと、優雅に碇泊するヨットを眺めながら、思わずお財布の紐も緩みそう？！

Above all else, the owner Denise is a truly fabulous woman, and there are no shortage of clients who come to visit just to see her. Here in California, they say it's sunny 300 days out of the year. Under the brilliant sunlight, while gazing at the gracefully anchored yachts, you may find your purse strings coming loose!?

「Shelter Half」などでも取り扱う、古材を削り直したカッティングボードや、オリジナルウエアを展開する＜STORMY MONDAY（ストーミーマンデー）＞。ウエアはメンズだけだが、カッティングボードは、家ではもちろん、アウトドアシーンでも食事をするときにおすすめ。

Original wear and cutting boards fashioned out of antique material by ＜STORMY MONDAY＞, carried at "Shelter Half" as well. Although the clothing is all menswear, the cutting boards are recommended for home use of course, as well as for meal preparation outdoors.

デザイナーの工房兼自宅は、サンタバーバラの自然豊かな場所にある。鳥のさえずりや風の音が静かに響き、こういう場所でモノ作りをすると、自然と無駄が削ぎ落され、生活に必要なミニマムが見えてくるのだろう。＜STORMY MONDAY＞が生み出すアイテムにはしっかりとそれが反映されている。

The designer's studio/home is situated in an area surrounded by the nature of Santa Barbara. When creating things in an environment like this, with the singing of birds and the sounds of the wind quietly echoing throughout, wasteful efforts are naturally stripped away, and the necessary minimal elements to life start to become visible. This principle is solidly reflected in the items produced by ＜STORMY MONDAY＞.

ホテルのイメージを、スタイリッシュに変えてくれた「ACE HOTEL（エースホテル）」。ただ泊まるだけのホテルはもう古い！センスのいいインテリアや小物に囲まれて、よりリラックスした心地よい時間が過ごせる。内装はLAのクリエイティブ集団「COMMUNE DESIGN（コミューンデザイン）」によるもの。

The ACE HOTEL, which has transformed the image of hotels into a stylish new presence. Hotels are no longer just for staying the night! Surrounded by fashionable interiors and accessories, enjoy a more relaxed, comfortable passage of time. The interiors were designed by the L.A.-based creative collective, Commune Design.

1Fにはレストランやコーヒーショップがあり、最上階にはプール付きのバーがあり、朝早くから遅くまで、感度の高い人たちに囲まれながら特別な体験が出来る。居心地の良さを高めてくれるアメニティグッズと共に、洗練された理想空間がここには存在している。

On the 1st floor are a restaurant and coffee shop, and a pool with a bar on the rooftop, where from early morning to late at night, you'll enjoy the special experience of being surrounded by people with high sensibilities. Along with amenities to heighten your comfort, here exists the elegance of an ideal space environment.
