A select shop specializing in activity brand items, primarily surf items, and located on L.A.'s La Brea Avenue. The large interior is separated into individual booths for each creator, in a wonderful composition fusing the practicability of an active life and fashion. 1948年に創業された老舗陶器メーカー。50年代前後、一大産業であったセラミックはその後衰退したが、この＜HEATH CERAMICS（ヒース セラミックス）＞は当時の製法をそのままに、ハンドメイドでテーブルウエアを作り続けている数少ないメーカーである。

A long-standing pottery maker, established in 1948. Ever since the 50s, although ceramics as a big industry has receded, ＜HEATH CERAMICS＞ has continued to maintain the same style of craftsmanship, and is now one of the few remaining makers of handmade tableware.

アメリカ国内の著名なレストランでは必ずといっていいほど使用されている。カリフォルニアらしいマットな質感とカラーリングがシンプルで飽きの来ないデザイン。食卓を彩る器にこだわることは、ライフスタイルには欠かせないこと。

街全体がアート地区になっている、ダウンタウンの東側に位置するアーツディストリクトで、2014年春にスタートしたセレクトショップ。ローカルのブランドを多く取り揃えるなど、地元クリエイターのショールーム的な役割で、ローカル産業をサポートすることがお店のコンセプトだそう。雑貨からウエアまで、女性オーナーがセレクトしていることもあり、コスメまわりも充実のラインアップ。

A select shop, opened in Spring of 2014, in the arts district to the East side of downtown, where the entire area is an art zone. We've been told that, by offering a wide selection of local brands, and serving as a showroom for homegrown creators, the shop's concept is to support the local industries. Offering an enriched lineup featuring accessories to clothing, and with a feminine touch by its woman owner, a full selection of cosmetics as well.

LAに2010年にオープンした、オリジナルウエアや革小物を展開するショップ。オーナーのレネ・ホルギンは、＜Ralph Lauren（ラルフ ローレン）＞や＜Levis®（リーバイス）＞でのマーチャンダイザーとしてのキャリアを持ち、全て革製品は彼のハンドメイドである。所狭しと並ぶアイテムは、どれもベーシックでありながら独創的なものばかり。

Opened in L.A. in 2010, this shop features original wear and leather accessories. The owner, Rene Holguin, has a career as a merchandiser with ＜Ralph Lauren＞ and ＜Levis®＞, and all of the leather products on display are his handiwork. Crammed into this tiny space, all the items on offer are basic but creative originals.

店内のビジュアルの作り方も、まるでアート作品を思わせる完成度の高さだ。ベルを鳴らして入店するスタイル。扉の先では、ライフスタイルを豊かにするアイテムが必ず見つかる。
