Yamamoto Jin Shoten

Founded in Gifu Prefecture, this historic textile company is currently based in Kyoto. The company was founded with the spirit of "Jin" (benevolence), and has passed that spirit on through successive generations of the company, who have taken on the name "Jin." As times have changed, the company has changed its business to buy and sell cotton fabrics and sell rayon, and is currently focused on dyeing and design. Influenced by traditional culture, the company has carved out its own path by dyeing designs cultivated in Kyoto.
