Chinjukan Kiln

Located in Miyama Village, Hioki City, Kagoshima Prefecture, this pottery has been in business for over 420 years and is one of the few remaining Satsuma ware potteries in the Satsuma region. Since its founding, the pottery has been committed to producing Satsuma ware using rare "Satsuma clay" and "climbing kilns," which are now rare to see.
