■ Design
This modern, authentic vintage trucker jacket is packed with BEAMS' signature attention to detail, from fabric development and sewing specifications to thread, fit, and product processing. It's designed to resemble a trucker jacket that's been worn for about eight years, so flashy distressing has been avoided. The distressing is also based on the vintage jeans that inspired the model, further enhancing the realism.

■Details
The jeans feature a special BEAMS logo selvedge, allowing you to enjoy the changes in texture that occur with wear. The jeans are hand-bleached, then chlorine-wiped, and dyed to create a unique, realistic look.
The stitching thread is covered with cotton, just like denim pants, so that it will not fade with repeated wear.

■Size
relaxed fit
The length is compactly designed, with ample shoulder and chest width for a relaxed box silhouette.
The silhouette is original to BEAMS, recreating the feeling of a tightly packed yoke while adding volume.

■ Material
The texture of the fabric was recreated by disassembling and analyzing vintage denim from the 1940s. To recreate the neps caused by rough spinning techniques and the instability of the weave, leaf residue and other materials were deliberately blended into the warp threads. With wear, the fabric develops dotted marks and a texture reminiscent of the wear caused by the rubbing of a loom.
To recreate the color of the time, the fabric is rope dyed slightly lightly with 100% pure indigo to create a bluish hue.
This time, in order to get closer to the worn-in look of raw denim, the raw fabric is simply washed to stabilize the shrinkage and then sewn. This allows us to achieve the unique textured look that comes from the softness and stiffness of the fabric that is characteristic of selvedge denim.
