This stole from Yamazaki Asaorimono Kobo is made using Noto Jofu, one of the top five fine fabrics in Japan.

■ Design
This high-quality short stole allows you to casually enjoy the traditional techniques born from the hand-weaving techniques of Noto Jofu artisans. It features the transparency and crispness of linen, and the design gives an elegant impression.

■ Material
Made of hemp, it is highly absorbent and has a soft, cool feel due to being hand-washed. The more you wash it, the softer it becomes, allowing you to use it for a long time.

【Notes】
・Washable. Wash by hand (with water or mild detergent) by pressing.
If you send it out for cleaning, please specify that it should be washed with water.
-During use and washing, friction may cause the fabric to become slightly fuzzy or white.
-When hand washing, it may shrink slightly, but you can easily remove any wrinkles while it is wet.
・Please avoid ironing as much as possible. (If you use it, spray it with a mist and apply a cloth.)

What is Noto Jofu?
It is a high-quality linen fabric that has a cool texture, is transparent like cicada wings, has a firm, lustrous, and crisp feel, and is popular for summer kimonos. It is characterized by its delicate and elegant Kasuri patterns created by Noto's unique craftsmanship techniques called comb printing and roll printing. It has been designated as an intangible cultural property by Ishikawa Prefecture.
